How to measure a pool filter cartridge

A. Measure the outside diameter ( O.D.) of the pool filter cartridge in inches.
B. Measure the overall length of the pool cartridge in inches , including the end caps.
C. measure the inside diameter of the opening

Check to see if there is a PVC insert in the center of the cartridge
